🌾 Teaching Tuesday: Why We Give Horses Beer! 🍺🐴

While beer can be used to boost appetite, hydration, and vitamin intake in the summer, we primarily use it to help horses with anhidrosis—a condition where they lose the ability to sweat, which is common in hot, humid climates.

Sweating is how horses regulate their body temperature, so helping them stay cool is essential!
